Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. in Raleigh, NC, seeks a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY sales with expert knowledge of store systems, parts and automotive diagnostics.

You will assist customers in person and by phone, source from multiple channels, and help with battery installs and related services. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, strong English communication, and familiarity with POS and inventory systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability and knowledge of parts sourcing.
• Strong communication in English and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with store inventory and POS systems.
• ASE P2 certification or ASE ready preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
