Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to deliver expert product knowledge and advanced DIY service support. You will handle parts sourcing from multiple channels, manage warranty and diagnostics, and act as a key holder for opening/closing duties.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in automotive parts, strong parts and systems knowledge, and proficiency with POS and inventory software. Fluency in English (Spanish a plus) is preferred; ASE cert is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and manuals.
• English required; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes (cycle counts, back stock, etc).
• Store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, dusting, parking lot).
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
