Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a skilled Retail Parts Pro to support DIY customers with expert parts knowledge and store systems proficiency. The role emphasizes advanced identification, sourcing from multiple channels, and maintaining inventory and service quality.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, strong selling skills, and the ability to work days/evenings/weekends with strong English communication. ASE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years automotive parts experience.
• Fluent English; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to read safety/maintenance docs.
• Basic math and MS Office skills.
• Complete Parts Knowledge Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate selling experience for DIY customers.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services (battery installs, testing, wiper installs).
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder duties: opening/closing, safety.
