Job summary

Mancon in New Jersey is seeking a Parts Specialist II to provide counter service to NJDOT employees and assist with inventory control, data entry, and customer service. The role may involve driving a MANCON vehicle to pick up parts.

This hourly position offers a pay range of $16.00 to $24.49 per hour, placement within this range based on experience, certifications, and demonstrated skills aligned with the role requirements.

Qualifications

• 1 year of computer experience.
• 4 years of auto/HD truck parts experience.
• 24-hour availability.
• Valid Driver’s License with two years driving experience.
• Obtain and maintain forklift license (MANCON will provide training after hire).
• Obtain and maintain P1 and P2 ASE Certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service including greeting customers, checking requisitions and answering questions about part availability.
• Drive vehicle to designated locations to purchase/pick up parts and review invoices for pricing and quantities.
• Assist in generating invoices and entering data in inventory systems.
• Assist with weekly inventory counts and site inventories.
• Follow SOPs and safety guidelines and participate in training.
