Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a General Manager to inspire the team, grow DIY and Professional Customer relationships, and lead store operations with integrity. The role demands understanding of store systems, automotive parts, and the ability to troubleshoot and project assist.

Expect 50–55 hours weekly with 11-hour shifts, including nights and weekends. The GM will recruit and develop staff, manage inventory, analyze P&L, and ensure safety and high service standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail management and driving store performance.
• This is an exempt, full-time role with long hours (50–55 per week) and varied shifts including nights and weekends.
• Strong leadership, coaching, scheduling, and team engagement responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Achieve store sales goals and service objectives.
• Grow Professional Customer relationships and execute action plans.
• Hire, develop, evaluate, coach, and schedule Team Members.
• Oversee inventory and store operations; ensure safe, compliant environment.
• Lead on-duty coverage, floor/phone management, and task completion.
• Lead change management and drive excellent customer experiences.
