Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business and help meet sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

The position can be part time or full time, with responsibilities including customer service, DIY battery and wiper services, inventory care, and daily maintenance of the sales floor. Fluency in English is required; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to use inventory, POS, and parts lookup systems.
• Knowledge of automotive parts and basic diagnostic equipment is helpful.
• Willing to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.
• English speaking and writing; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installations.
• Maintain store product and operational standards; manage inventory processes.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
• Keep store clean and stocked; assist with general stocking and back stock.
