Job summary

AutoZone seeks an Delivery Driver to join our team, providing outstanding customer service and expert automotive advice while delivering parts to commercial customers using company-provided vehicles.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading per route schedules, maintaining on-time deliveries, and supporting store and commercial accounts. A valid license, basic auto-knowledge, and a flexible full-time schedule are required; Hazmat endorsement is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and adherence to driver safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible full-time schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Hazmat endorsement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver WOW! customer service by engaging with customers and providing automotive advice and installation services.
• Work closely with store personnel and commercial accounts to ensure smooth team collaboration and strong customer relationships.
• Maintain delivery operations with time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
• Drive company-provided vehicles and deliver parts to commercial customers; load and unload per route schedules.
• Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Adhere to PPE and fleet safety guidelines to maintain a safe driving environment.
• Process customer payments securely and in accordance with company policies.
• Stay informed on promotions and automotive products and report issues with delivery vehicles promptly.
