Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, while promoting current sales and loyalty programs. You will also collect returns, manage credit accounts and support store operations with friendly service.

Ideal candidates have strong driving skills, a knack for upselling, and the ability to engage walk-in customers. This role requires a valid license and the physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service mindset and communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic math and read safety and procedure manuals.
• Willingness to learn about new products and sales techniques.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stocking, both front and back stock.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and suggest parts.
• Operate delivery board and inventory systems.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Drive safely and navigate routes effectively in varying conditions.
