Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers. You will also handle returns, collect credit accounts, and promote sales and loyalty programs.

The role requires lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance, strong communication, and a customer-service mindset. Prior automotive parts experience and a valid driver’s license are preferred. Regular shifts including some evenings and weekends are expected.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Fluent in English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP with insights learned while making deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
