Job summary

J O Williams Motors, Inc. is seeking a Parts Counter Person to support customer service and retail sales in our auto parts store. The ideal candidate will have previous Parts experience, especially at a Ford dealership, and strong knowledge of automobiles.

You will oversee the parts sales process, locate parts not in stock, process special orders, and communicate with customers, advisors, and technicians. This role requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and a positive,

Qualifications

• Previous Parts experience absolutely required; Ford dealership experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication, problem solving and customer-service focus.
• Knowledge of automobiles and parts terminology.
• Ability to learn new systems and procedures quickly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
• Work with parts manager to locate parts not in stock.
• Complete special order part requests for customers or technicians.
• Communicate with customers, advisors, and technicians on parts status.
• Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Check-in new inventory each morning.
• Distribute parts and supplies to technicians.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations applicable to industry.
