Job summary

Dahl Automotive in Stevens Point, WI is seeking a Parts Counterperson to help guests identify and locate parts for vehicles and support technicians in service and repairs.

You will use manufacturer catalogs and our DMS to verify availability and pricing, create and manage purchase orders, and deliver friendly, professional service at the parts counter and over the phone. Prior auto parts sales experience is preferred, but we’re willing to train the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment preferred.
• Strong time management and organizational skills required.
• Detail-oriented with professional appearance and work ethic.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests in identifying and locating the correct parts for their vehicles.
• Create, update, and manage purchase orders accurately.
• Work closely with technicians to ensure parts are available for repairs.
• Use manufacturer catalogs and DMS systems to identify parts, availability, and pricing.
• Process, review, and close open invoices in a timely manner.
• Provide responsive, accurate, and efficient service to all internal departments.
• Deliver a friendly, professional experience to guests at the parts counter and over the phone.
• Maintain accuracy, organization, and urgency in a fast-paced environment.
