Job summary

Amtower Auto Supply, Inc. in Bridgeport, WV is hiring a Full-Time Counter Sales Associate to assist customers in choosing auto parts and provide excellent service. You will manage sales transactions, help wholesale and retail clients, and stay informed on products and trends.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver’s license with no major violations
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Prior experience in an auto parts store or automotive/DIY environment preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work a varying schedule including evenings and weekends
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
• Basic computer literacy and smartphone/tablet use

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them in finding the right auto parts for their vehicles
• Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries and giving product information
• Assist retail and wholesale customers in person, by phone, and online ordering
• Handle cash, credit card, and other purchasing transactions
• Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets and provide support as needed
• Stay updated on new products and automotive trends
• Adhere to company policies and procedures
• Other tasks as assigned
