Job summary

The Parts Authority, a leading national distributor of automotive replacement parts, is seeking an Auto Parts Counter Professional in Tampa. You will report to the Store Manager and handle inside sales, build relationships, quote parts, and close sales to meet targets.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in counter sales, strong phone and customer service skills, knowledge of automotive parts, and familiarity with POS systems and MS Office. Multilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in counter sales in a competitive market, preferably wholesale auto parts sales in aftermarket industry.
• Strong phone skills with a positive, attentive tone.
• Excellent negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to build and maintain lasting business relationships.
• Automotive knowledge is preferred.
• Results-oriented with a proactive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain productive, long-lasting relationships with customers.
• Close sales to achieve goals and drive growth.
• Interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Understand customer needs and provide appropriate parts.
• Locate hard-to-find parts and negotiate with vendors for best deals.
