Genuine Parts Company, home of NAPA, is seeking a Counter Sales associate to be the friendly face of our store. You’ll help customers with auto parts, answer questions, and ensure a positive shopping experience in a fast-paced environment.

We value hands-on knowledge or a drive to learn about automotive parts, plus strong communication and listening skills. Valid license and HS diploma are preferred; opportunities for growth exist within the NAPA family.

Qualifications

• Background knowledge of automotive parts is preferred or a strong willingness to learn.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Valid driver’s license is needed to operate vehicles or assist customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide auto parts answers and solutions for customers at the counter or over the phone.
• Use parts knowledge to assist other team members with customer questions.
• Deliver outstanding customer care and positive store interactions.
• Bring customer focus and high energy to a fast-paced store.
• Welcome retail customers and engage to enhance their experience.
• Use technology, cash register, telephone, and paper catalog systems.
