Job summary

Euromotors Auto Group Mercedes-Benz of Oakland is seeking a Parts Advisor to support technicians by selecting and pricing parts, handling stock, and coordinating with service and body shop teams. This role emphasizes accuracy, timely communication, and smooth operation of the parts department in a busy Bay Area dealership.

You should have 1–3 years in automotive parts or related experience, strong Excel skills, and excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities.

Qualifications

• Automotive parts experience preferred.
• 1–3 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Pre-employment drug test and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
• Explain companion part requirements and specials and ensure exposure to full product line.
• Answer phone calls, provide price quotes and information.
• Review estimates to ensure correct parts and pricing.
• Pull and fill orders from stock; notify parts manager of out-of-stock items.
• Locates out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submits emergency orders if needed.
• Notify service advisor and customer when special ordered parts are received.
• Update body shop when parts have arrived and delivery dates.
• Pull orders for delivery to body shop with proper tagging.
• Maintain inventory, back-orders, and stock records weekly.
• Assist outside sales reps with orders and maintain front/rear counter areas.
