Job summary

Caliber Collision in Grand Junction, CO is seeking an Auto Painter Helper to efficiently prepare vehicles for painting in collaboration with the Auto Painter. Duties include sanding, buffing, and maintaining the paint booth and workspace, following Caliber and OEM standards using state-of-the-art equipment.

The role requires 1+ year of paint operations experience, is for individuals 18+, and requires a valid driver's license; additional collision experience or Vo-Tech certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber's insurance policy.
• Nice to have, but not required: Previous collision experience and/or Collision Vo-Tech certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for painting in cooperation with the Auto Painter to ensure efficient workflow.
• Sand and buff surfaces as part of the prep process.
• Maintain cleanliness and operation of the paint booth and workspace.
• Repair vehicles to meet Caliber and OEM standards using state-of-the-art equipment.
