Job summary

Caliber Collision Salinas – Downtown is hiring an Auto Painter Helper to efficiently prepare vehicles for painting in cooperation with the Auto Painter, ensuring a smooth workflow. Duties include sanding, buffing, and maintaining the paint booth and workspace to meet Caliber and OEM standards using state-of-the-art equipment.

The role requires 1+ year in paint operations, 18+ years old, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license and eligibility for Caliber insurance coverage.
• Nice to have: collision experience and/or Collision Vo-Tech certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for painting in coordination with Auto Painter.
• Perform sanding and buffing as part of prep work.
• Maintain paint booth and workspace for safety and efficiency.
• Repair vehicles to Caliber and OEM standards using company equipment.
