Job summary

Caliber Collision is seeking an Auto Painter Helper in Salem, OR to assist the Auto Painter and keep the workflow efficient in a production shop. The role involves sanding, buffing, and keeping the paint booth clean and safe while ensuring work meets Caliber and OEM standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in paint operations within a collision center.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy.
• Nice to have: collision experience and/or Collision Vo-Tech certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for painting in cooperation with the Auto Painter.
• Sand and buff surfaces as needed.
• Maintain paint booth and workspace.
• Repair vehicles to Caliber and OEM standards using state-of-the-art equipment.
