Job summary

Caliber Collision in Carmel, IN is seeking an Auto Painter Helper to efficiently prepare vehicles for painting, collaborating with the Auto Painter to ensure smooth workflow. Duties include sanding, buffing, and maintaining the paint booth and workspace.

You will help repair vehicles safely and in line with Caliber and OEM standards using our modern equipment. The role offers on-the-job training, opportunities for certifications (I-CAR and ASE), and room for career growth within a production

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy.
• Nice to have: previous collision experience and/or Collision Vo-Tech certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for painting in collaboration with the Auto Painter.
• Sand and buff as required.
• Maintain the paint booth and workspace.
• Ensure repairs meet Caliber and OEM standards.
