Job summary

Caliber Collision Northport is seeking an Auto Painter Helper to efficiently prepare vehicles for painting in cooperation with the Auto Painter. Duties include sanding, buffing, and maintaining the paint booth and workspace.

This role offers hands-on experience in a production shop. You will work under the supervision of the Auto Painter, follow OEM standards, and contribute to timely, quality repairs. Pay range is $15-$18 per hour; benefits start day one and overtime is available.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Sand and buff vehicles as part of prep for painting.
• Maintain and clean the paint booth and workspace.
• Assist Auto Painter to repair vehicles per OEM standards.
