DeVivo Companies has an opening for a full-time, alternative-shift Auto Paint Prepper at our body shop in Middletown, CT. Preppers individually prepare each vehicle throughout the repair process to help our technicians deliver high quality repairs.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in a related field.
• Be able to work in a flexible, fast-paced environment.
• Driver’s license.
• I-CAR or ASE training will set you above the crowd.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles properly for paint, including washing, taping, masking.
• Identify imperfections.
• Rub and polish completed vehicles.
• Assist technician in other areas as assigned.
• Attend/collaborate with team during daily production meetings.
• Work closely with coworkers to meet deadlines.
• Keep parts area clean and organized for production efficiency.
• Dispose of hazardous waste in an appropriate manner.

Education

High school diploma, trade school or equivalent
