Job summary

DeVivo Companies in Randolph, MA is hiring a full-time Auto Paint Prepper for our body shop. This entry-level role prepares vehicles for the repair process and supports technicians while you learn the business and grow your career.

Responsibilities include washing, taping, masking, identifying imperfections, rubbing and polishing vehicles, and collaborating with the team to meet production goals. A high school diploma or trade school and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in a related field.
• High school diploma, trade school or equivalent.
• Be able to work in a flexible, fast-paced environment.
• Driver's license.
• I-CAR or ASE training will set you above the crowd.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles properly for paint, including washing, taping, masking, etc.
• Identify imperfections
• Rub and polish completed vehicles
• Assist technician in other areas as assigned
• Attend/collaborate with team during daily production meetings
• Work closely with coworkers to meet deadlines
• Keep parts area clean and organized for production efficiency
• Dispose of hazardous waste in an appropriate manner.
