The candidate will supervise technicians, coordinate repairs and inspections, and ensure safety and quality standards while delivering outstanding customer service. Salary ranges from $50k to $75k DOE.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an automotive technician, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, repair procedures and vehicle maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of automotive technicians, ensuring high-quality repairs and services.
• Perform complex diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and HVAC systems.
• Oversee the completion of vehicle inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs in a timely manner.
• Ensure the team follows proper procedures for safety, cleanliness, and vehicle handling.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the service department.

• Perform complex diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and HVAC systems.
• Oversee the completion of vehicle inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs in a timely manner.
• Ensure the team follows proper procedures for safety, cleanliness, and vehicle handling.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise in the service department.
• Providing training and technical guidance to junior technicians.
• Manage repair orders, ensuring they are completed with accuracy and within budget.
• Communicate with service advisor and customers when necessary regarding vehicle issues and needed repairs and maintenance services.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of necessary parts.
• Maintaining a high standard of customer service and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent, ASE Master Certification preffered.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an automotive technician with minimum 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, repair procedures and vehicle maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of automotive sysems and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks at a time.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual labor type tasks.
• Ability to work in a variety of environments, including indoor and outdoor.
• Ability to adapt to working in less than optimal conditions and positions at times.
