Job summary

ADESA, a Carvana owned company, is seeking an Auto Mechanic to perform diagnostics, repairs and preventive maintenance on vehicles across locations. The role emphasizes high quality, safety and efficient service within a fast-paced environment.

You will handle A/C, brakes, electrical systems, cooling, driveline, fuel systems and more, with responsibilities expanding to maintenance checks and road testing as needed. Excellent reading and communication in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Must be physically able to operate vehicle equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• A/C & Heater - diagnose, inspect condenser, belts, check Freon leaks.
• Brakes - inspect components, check for irregular noises, measure wear.
• Electrical Charging Systems - inspect batteries, test and replace belts.
• Clutch - lubricate bearings, identify proper clutch operation.
• Cooling Systems - check coolant levels, inspect leaks, minor repairs.
• Electrical Cranking System – inspect batteries, read wiring schematics.
• Lighting System and Electrical Accessories - repair wiring, replace bulbs and components.
• Drive Axles - inspect leaks, change oil and filters.
• Driveline - lubricate drive line, inspect wear.
• Gas Engines - check oil levels, listen for unusual noises.
• Fuel Systems - replace fuel filter, inspect fuel lines.
• Preventive Maintenance - lube techniques, tire inspection, battery check.
• Tire and Wheel Maintenance - check air pressure, tread depth, rotate tires.
• Other duties as assigned
