Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a competent Mechanic to provide preventive maintenance and repair services for vehicles. You will diagnose issues, advise customers, and perform maintenance to keep cars and trucks operating safely and efficiently.

The role requires adhering to safety rules, performing in a fast-paced environment, and coordinating with team members. The ideal candidate has a strong passion for automotive repair, solid communication skills, and the ability to work well under time constraints

Qualifications

• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• ASE Certification preferred but not required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Succeeds in a team environment and works well with others.
• Passion for automotive repair and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect each customer vehicle for repairs and inform the customer/store management.
• Perform general auto mechanical repairs including brakes, tune ups, and light repair.
• Complete required computer-based training and other on the job training within the required timeframe.
• Report for shift on time and wear proper uniform and PPE.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment and follow safety procedures.
• Greet guests professionally and attend store meetings.
• Guide guest’s vehicle into/out of the bay area.
• Check and communicate oil level and oil filter choice.
• Check tire pressures and fill necessary fluids.
• Perform lower and upper bay inspections during service.
• Observe and report vehicle status to upper bay.
