Job summary

Whip, doing business as DriveWhip, seeks an Auto Repair Rockstar in Atlanta, GA to diagnose and repair vehicles, perform preventative maintenance, and keep our fleet road-ready. You’ll use modern diagnostic tools and collaborate with our service and operations teams to ensure fast vehicle turnaround.

We value hands-on mechanics with a strong understanding of engines, brakes, electrical systems, and maintenance.

Qualifications

• A mechanic guru with hands-on auto repairs and diagnostics.
• B-Level or Higher (Required).
• Knowledge of engines, brakes and electrical systems.
• Problem-solver who can think on their feet.
• Team player who works fast, smart and with a great attitude.
• Valid driver’s license (test drives are part of the fun).

DriveWhip is a mobility provider in the Washington, DC area, with offices in multiple cities, including Atlanta, that Leases/Rents vehicles to Uber, Lyft and other On-Demand or Rideshare drivers. As a ground floor member of an exciting new company all associates will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities. An appreciation for the pros and cons of start up culture is a must.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Diagnose & Repair: Keep our fleet running smoothly by tackling mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance issues.
• Preventative Maintenance: Oil changes, tire rotations, brake jobs—you name it, you handle it!
• Fleet Optimization: Work with our team to keep vehicles in top shape and ready to roll.
• Tech‑Savvy Fixes: Use modern diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems and keep repairs efficient.
• Team Collaboration: Work alongside our service and operations team to ensure fast, reliable vehicle turnaround.

What We’re Looking For
