DriveWhip in Chicago, IL is seeking an Auto Repair Rockstar to keep our rideshare fleet road-ready. As a Service Technician you diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles to minimize downtime and maximize driver earnings.

Qualifications

• Hands-on auto repair and diagnostics experience.
• B-Level or higher required.

• Valid driver's license required for test drives.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and maintenance issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake jobs.
• Keep the rideshare fleet in peak condition and available.
• Collaborate with service and operations teams for quick turnaround.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems efficiently.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Diagnose & Repair: Keep our fleet running smoothly by tackling mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance issues.
• Preventative Maintenance: Oil changes, tire rotations, brake jobs—you name it, you handle it!
• Fleet Optimization: Work with our team to keep vehicles in top shape and ready to roll.
• Tech‑Savvy Fixes: Use modern diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems and keep repairs efficient.
• Team Collaboration: Work alongside our service and operations team to ensure fast, reliable vehicle turnaround.

What We’re Looking For

• A mechanic guru with hands‑on experience in auto repairs and diagnostics.
• B-Level or Higher (Required)
• Someone who knows their way around engines, brakes, electrical systems, and more.
