Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. in Asheville, NC is hiring a Maintenance Technician for Firestone Complete Auto Care. This entry-level role supports a skilled team, learns diagnostics, repair, oil changes, tire maintenance and basic electrical checks on customer vehicles.

Full- and part-time benefits start day one, including training, ASE certification opportunities, and a flexible schedule. A valid driver's license is required; prior automotive service experience is a plus, and teammates enjoy 401(k)

Qualifications

• Must be able to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
