Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring an Auto Liability Claims Representative to analyze claims for multiple clients from a remote/home location. You will adjudicate benefits, determine liability, and manage claims through to settlement while maintaining client relationships.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
• 2 years of claims management experience or equivalent education/experience required.
• Jurisdiction: Nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Processes auto liability claims by gathering information to determine liability exposure, assigns reserves, makes payments, and settles claims up to designated authority.
• Develops and coordinates claim action plans to resolution and return-to-work efforts, and approves payments.
• Approves and processes assigned claims, determines benefits due, administers action plans per contract.
• Administers subrogation of claims and negotiates settlements.
• Communicates claim actions with claimants and clients.
• Ensures claim files are properly documented and claims coding is correct.
• May process low-level lifetime medical/defined period medical claims including filings and treatment decisions.
• Maintains professional client relationships.
