Qualifikationen

• Education & licensing requirements include a high school diploma or GED; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Two years of claims management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Nationwide jurisdiction knowledge; licensing preferred.

Aufgaben

• Process low level general liability claims by gathering information to determine liability exposure; assign reserve values and make payments as needed.
• Develop and coordinate low level general liability claims' action plans to resolution and return-to-work efforts; approve payments.
• Approve and process assigned claims, determine benefits due, and administer action plans.
• Administer subrogation and negotiate settlements.
• Communicate claim actions with claimants and clients.
• Ensure claim files are properly documented and coded.
• May process low-level lifetime medical and defined period medical claims with state/physician filings and utilization decisions.
• Maintain professional client relationships.
