Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced sales professional to develop and manage dealer relationships for auto loan production. The role requires prospecting new clients, presenting program benefits, and managing dealer portfolios after signing.

You will collaborate with underwriting and fulfillment teams to manage risk, monitor dealer activity, and deliver market intelligence to leadership. Travel may be required for client engagements and market leadership participation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience selling retail financing to automotive dealerships or equivalent outside sales experience.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Ability to drive long distances with possible overnight stays.
• Established dealer relationships within the market.
• High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage dealer relationships to increase auto applications and loan production sales.
• Prospect new clients and communicate program benefits.
• Manage all aspects of dealer portfolios after signing.
• Partner with underwriting and fulfillment teams to manage underlying risks.
• Execute risk management activities, including monitoring dealer activity and negative news.
• Capture market intelligence and deliver feedback to leadership.
• Represent Consumer Vehicle Lending in the market.
• Host client engagement events and attend industry conferences.
• Identify and deepen opportunities and drive referrals to enterprise capabilities.
• Participate in local market leadership team activities.
