Job summary

Westlake Financial is seeking a Dealer Account Manager to expand our network of dealer partners and drive profitable auto lending opportunities. You will educate and train dealers in your area, identify prospects, and manage ongoing relationships.

This full-time field role requires travel in the local market, strong presentation and communication skills, and a proven sales track record. We offer substantial bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Automotive, Finance and Sales (required).
• 1-2 years’ sales experience with a proven track record.
• College degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Strong presentation skills from creation to delivery.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
• Strong computer skills and adaptability to new tech.
• Goal-oriented with desire for growth and advancement.
• Able to work well with diverse teams and travel locally.
• Experience with DealerTrack, RouteOne, or CUDL is beneficial.
• Outside sales experience preferred and significant local travel with valid license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare presentations and proposals to communicate products to dealership management.
• Identify sales prospects and engage accounts in assigned area.
• Follow-up on leads and referrals from field activity.
• Develop and grow current and potential dealer partners.
• Maintain regular communication via phone and in-person visits to train on programs.
• Provide financing solutions and rework deals for profitability.
• Assist with sales contracts by educating dealers on verification needs.
• Keep up-to-date on sales materials and financial product knowledge.
• Participate in marketing events like seminars and trade shows.
