Night Shift Operators Needed: 6:20pm-6:30am

WHAT'S NEW WITH APTAR

We have an exciting position open in Mukwonago, WI: Operator. This position provides assistance to the Manufacturing/Operational processes and Quality Systems. The operator manages material flow on the equipment, monitors operation, makes operating adjustments as required, and verifies equipment operating conditions to ensure conformance to specifications. Responsibilities include area housekeeping, following safety procedures, and recommending changes to enhance equipment performance and safety. The position requires participation and adherence to all applicable plant certifications, including but not limited to ISO 9001:2000 and SQF.

HOW YOUR JOURNEY BEGINS
  1. Arrive 5 minutes before the shift starts to communicate with the previous shift.
  2. Read the activity board for scheduled color changes, conversions, and set-ups.
  3. Create, label, and number boxes.
  4. Read shop orders for product requirements and verify labels.
  5. Respond to alarms, check for stuck parts, and use the Process Monitor on presses.
  6. Clean machines after production to maintain efficiency.
  7. Operate emergency stops on machines, grinders, and auxiliary equipment, understanding lockout/tagout procedures.
  8. Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, sometimes several machines at once.
  9. Inspect and discard defective goods and packaging components.
  10. Monitor machine operations to ensure product quality and quantity.
  11. Support and adhere to system procedures and company policies.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.
  13. Communicate gross defects and issues with team members and technical staff.
