Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking an enthusiastic Inspector to join our team in the United States. This role involves inspecting vehicles at dealerships, auctions, and off-lease locations to identify damage and mechanical issues, then documenting conditions and costs for clients.

You will work with Territory Managers and Inspectors to ensure accurate reports and build strong dealer relationships. You must be able to travel to various sites, communicate clearly, and perform physical tasks associated with

Qualifications

• 1 year(s) experience in the automobile field (body, paint and mechanical repair knowledge) with customer service background.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Willingness to work outdoors and travel to dealerships as needed.

Responsibilities

• Actively support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
• Conduct inspections of vehicles at dealerships, auctions, and off-lease to detect damage and issues.
• Prepare and submit condition reports, repair estimates, and related documentation.
• Interface with dealers to develop client satisfaction and relationships.
• List inspected vehicles for bidding and purchasing on ACV Auctions platform.
