Job summary

Glass America is hiring a trainee in Lynchburg, VA to start a career in the auto glass industry. You will participate in a comprehensive training program, get a personal mentor, and gain the tools needed to become a certified auto glass technician.

Entry level role with opportunities for top earnings through a lucrative bonus plan, health benefits, and career advancement within a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• Mechanical ability and aptitude.
• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Complete a criminal background check.
• Ability to lift and carry large, heavy objects (up to 75 pounds).
• Automotive experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to complete background check/MVR and drug screening process.

Responsibilities

• Learn to professionally install auto glass in accordance with the AGRSS Standard.
• Your trainer and mentor will teach you techniques used by pros.
• After the four month training, work on your own with potential to earn more via bonus plan.

Responsibilities

As a technician trainee, you will learn to professionally install auto glass in accordance with the AGRSS™ Standard. Your trainer and mentor will teach you all the techniques the pros use to complete safe, high quality auto glass installations with a focus on personal safety and outstanding customer service. After the intensive four month training program, you will have the opportunity to work on your own with the potential to make top dollar with our lucrative bonus plan.
