Job summary

Glass America in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Glass Technician Trainee to professionally install auto glass following the AGRSS standard. You will learn techniques from a trainer to ensure safe, high-quality installations with strong customer service and personal safety.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and 2+ years of related work experience, plus a valid driver’s license. Automotive experience is a plus and you’ll work with a mobile app for orders and inventory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years of related work experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Possesses basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Follow up with Glass Manager/Dispatcher on installation issues and equipment problems.
• Use proper tools to complete repairs in shop or on mobile basis with high quality and customer service; calibrate cameras as needed.
• Maintain safe driving record and ensure company vehicle is stocked, maintained, and clean.
• Use mobile app to complete paperwork and reconcile funds daily.
