Job summary

Glass America in Lynchburg, VA is seeking a Glass Technician Trainee to professionally install auto glass following AGRSS standards. Your trainer will teach you techniques used by pros to deliver safe, high-quality installations with a focus on personal safety and outstanding customer service.

This entry-level role requires a high school diploma or GED; 2+ years of related work is a plus. You will work with the Glass Manager, use the mobile app for work orders, and maintain a clean driving

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years of related work experience preferred.
• Automotive experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Immediately follow up with the Glass Manager/Dispatcher on installation issues and communicate equipment issues.
• Use proper tools and techniques to complete repairs in shop or on a mobile basis while maintaining high quality and customer service; calibrate cameras after replacement and clean up broken glass as needed.
• Maintain a safe driving record and ensure company vehicle is stocked, maintained, and clean.
• Use the mobile app to complete required paperwork and daily reconciliation of funds.
