Job summary

Glass America in Kansas City is hiring Auto Glass Technicians to replace windshields and window glass in vehicles, in-shop or on a mobile basis, with a focus on quality installation and customer service.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, 4–6 years of related experience, a valid driver's license, ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and proficient use of hand and power tools. Full-time benefits include PTO, holidays, health and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 4–6 years of related work experience is required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time during installation.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Mechanical aptitude and skill to operate hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Installs auto glass in-shop or on a mobile basis.
• Uses proper tools and techniques to ensure quality installation.
• Completes required paperwork and reports to appropriate supervisor.
• Maintains safe driving record and adheres to company policy.
• May perform auto glass repairs as needed.
• Loads glass in the truck and coordinates with Glass Manager for issues.
