Job summary

Glass America is hiring Auto Glass Technicians in Portland, OR. The role involves replacing windshields and glass components in vehicles, either in-shop or on site with mobile service. You’ll use proper tools, follow safety protocols, and maintain accurate paperwork to ensure high-quality installation.

Must have a high school diploma or GED with 4–6 years of related experience. A valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strong customer-service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid driver’s license and ability to drive, lift and handle automotive glass.
• High school diploma or GED required; related experience preferred.
• Ability to stand long periods and perform installation work in shop or mobile settings.

Responsibilities

• Install auto glass and related products in-shop or on a mobile basis.
• Use proper tools to ensure efficient, timely, quality installation for Glass America customers.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe driving record in line with company policy.
• Perform auto glass repairs as needed.
• Load glass in the truck and coordinate with the Glass Manager for problem resolution.
