Job summary

Safelite is seeking a Technician Trainee in the Alexandria area to begin a structured training program. You will learn through hands-on practice and classroom sessions, observe and assist with glass installation, and participate in safety system recalibrations and diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license required by Safelite.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly and work in various environments.
• Willingness to learn and apply Safelite techniques and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Be paid to learn and apprentice the Safelite way through hands-on and classroom training.
• Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and perform diagnostic testing.
• Provide additional services and products as trained.
• Complete testing to become Safelite-certified Technician and demonstrate proficiency.
