Job summary

Safelite AutoGlass in Leander, TX is seeking an Auto Glass Installation Technician Trainee. You will be trained to become a proficient auto glass technician and, upon completion, earn the Safelite SafeTech certification while learning to install, repair and recalibrate automotive glass and safety systems.

This paid training program includes hands-on and classroom instruction, with tools provided and a path to benefits including medical plans, 401(k) matching, PTO, holidays and tuition

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license required to operate a company vehicle.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and complete diagnostic testing.
• Provide additional services and products and study to become certified.
