Job summary

Portland Glass is seeking an Auto Glass Technician to inspect, remove, and install windshields and other automotive glass, repair chips, and ensure quality workmanship. You will inspect vehicles for damaged components and perform ADAS calibration when needed while maintaining accurate service records.

Qualifications

• Proficient use of hand tools and specialized auto glass equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to procedures.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, remove, and install windshields, back glass, door glass, quarter glass, and other automotive glass.
• Repair eligible windshield chips and cracks according to industry standards.
• Inspect vehicles for damaged moldings, clips, seals, and related components.
• Perform ADAS camera calibration or coordinate calibration when required.
• Communicate professionally with customers and complete required service documentation.
• Follow safety policies, OSHA requirements, and industry standards.
