Job summary

Portland Glass of Nashua is looking for an Auto Glass Technician to repair and replace windshields and glass on vehicles in our Portsmouth-area shop. You will install auto glass parts, perform flat glass cutting, and continuously learn the latest products and safety procedures while clearly explaining the work to customers.

Qualifications

• Prior automotive glass experience or 3+ years of relevant experience in the automotive industry required.
• Proficient use of hand tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong customer service/phone skills.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test, per applicable state laws.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Physical requirements: Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Continuous learning of the latest products and procedures in Auto Glass repair, replacement and calibration to meet safety regulations.

• Variety of work responsibilities to include hands-on technical skills, as well as computer/administrative skills.
