Job summary

Safelite Group is seeking a Technician Trainee in California to train into a proficient auto glass technician. You will learn hands-on and in classroom settings, progress to Safelite certification, and perform glass repair, replacement and recalibrations under supervision.

Starting pay is $25.50 per hour with increases to $30.25 per hour after training and certification. Benefits include a comprehensive package, PTO, holidays, and tuition reimbursement up to $5,250 annually.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Valid state-issued driver’s license required

Responsibilities

• Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and perform diagnostic testing
• Provide additional services and products
• Complete testing to become Safelite-certified Technician
• Safely operate company and customer vehicles and tools
• Adhere to all policies and standards
