Glass America in Newport News, VA is hiring Auto Glass Technicians to replace windshields and window glass on vehicles in shop or at customer sites. You will use proper tools to ensure timely installations and handle required paperwork with diligence. A valid license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Valid driver’s license required and clean driving record.
Comfortable with standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Install auto glass and related products in shop or on a mobile basis.
Use proper tools and methods to ensure high quality installation.
Complete required paperwork and submit to appropriate location.
Maintain safe driving record in accordance with company policy.
Perform auto glass repairs as needed.
Load glass and follow up with Glass Manager on issues.
Provide excellent customer service and quality control.
