Job summary

Glass America NY Holbrook seeks an Auto Glass Technician to replace windshields and window glass in vehicles, in-shop or on-site. You will use proper tools to ensure quality installations and outstanding customer service, while keeping paperwork accurate and maintaining safety on the road.

Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 4–6 years of related experience. The role offers full-time hours, benefits, and opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Stand for long periods during glass installation.
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Need to handle glass safely by hand.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate hand/power tools.
• Background check, MVR and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Installs auto glass in-shop or on a mobile basis.
• Uses proper tools/techniques for quality installation.
• Completes required paperwork and submits to proper location.
• Maintains a safe driving record per company policy.
• May perform auto glass repairs if needed.
• Loads glass in the truck as needed.
