Job summary

Glass America Murfreesboro in Tennessee is seeking a career-oriented Auto Glass Technician. The role involves installing auto glass in-shop or on a mobile basis for a respected leader in the auto glass industry.

The technician will read pre- and post-scans, perform calibrations, and ensure high-quality, OE-standard work while communicating with management and supporting teams. Applicants should have 3+ years of glass replacement experience, a valid driver's license, and a solid work ethic.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years experience replacing automotive glass.
• Calibration (static/dynamic) experience is a plus.
• Strong work ethic and attendance.
• Problem solver who can work independently.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Criminal background check will be completed.

Responsibilities

• Install auto glass and related products in-shop or on a mobile basis using proper tools and techniques to OE standards.
• Maintain communication with management and local support to stay updated on job changes, cancellations, or additions.
• Complete necessary paperwork and perform bank deposits in a timely fashion.
• Perform static and dynamic calibrations of forward facing cameras (in-shop or mobile) per OE standards using calibration equipment and techniques.
• Read and understand pre- and post-scans; ensure high-quality calibration service to customers.

What Glass America requires of you to be successful

Install auto glass and other auto glass products in-shop or on a mobile basis. Utilize the proper tools and techniques to ensure efficient, timely, and quality installation service to company and industry standards. Maintain communication with management and local support team to stay up to date on any job changes, cancellations or additions. Complete necessary paperwork and make bank deposits in a timely fashion. Complete static and dynamic calibrations of forward facing cameras either in-shop or mobile basis depending on the type of calibration needed per OE standards. Utilizes the proper calibration equipment and techniques to ensure an OE standard, efficient, timely and quality calibration service to Glass America customers. Able to read and understand pre and post scans. WoW each customer while we continue our mission to Be the Best.

What Glass America needs of you to join the team
