Job summary

Glass America Murfreesboro in Tennessee is hiring a dedicated Auto Glass Technician. You will install automotive glass in-shop or on mobile calls, perform calibrations for forward-facing cameras, and ensure high-quality workmanship. A valid driver’s license and prior glass replacement experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years experience replacing automotive glass.
• Experience with static/dynamic calibrations is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR/background screen.

Responsibilities

• Install auto glass and related products in-shop or mobile.
• Use proper tools to ensure efficient, quality installations.
• Communicate with management about job changes and delays.
• Complete paperwork and deposits promptly.
• Perform static/dynamic calibrations per OE standards.
• Read pre/post scans and verify calibration results.
• Deliver wow experience to customers.

What Glass America requires of you to be successful:

1. Install auto glass and other auto glass products in-shop or on a mobile basis.


2. Utilize the proper tools and techniques to ensure efficient, timely, and quality installation service to company and industry standards.


3. Maintain communication with management and local support team to stay up to date on any job changes, cancellations or additions.


4. Complete necessary paperwork and make bank deposits in a timely fashion.


5. Complete static and dynamic calibrations of forward facing cameras either in-shop or mobile basis depending on the type of calibration needed per OE standards.


6. Utilizes the proper calibration equipment and techniques to ensure an OE standard, efficient, timely and quality calibration service to Glass America customers.


7. Able to read and understand pre and post scans.


8. WoW each customer while we continue our mission to Be the Best.

What Glass America needs of you to join the team:

1. Minimum 3+ years experience replacing automotive glass.


2. Calibration (static/dynamic), body shop (R&I/R&R) and flat glass experience is a plus.


3. Strong work ethic and attendance.


4. Problem solver who can work independently.


5. Valid Driver’s License


6. Must be able to complete background check/MVR and drug screening process.
