Job summary

Ally Financial offers a paid 11-week internship (May 25, 2027 – July 30, 2027) that moves students from educated to experienced through hands-on, project-based work. Interns gain exposure to Commercial Underwriting, Consumer Underwriting, Inventory Auditing, and Sales Analytics while networking with leadership across the company.

The program includes mentorship, orientation, and a sign-on bonus with housing assistance for those who qualify.

Qualifications

• Rising Junior or Senior in a full-time undergraduate program.
• Major/Course of Study: Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrates Analytical Thinking, Collaboration, Learning Agility.
• Available for the full duration of the internship program.
• Eligible to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship from the company now or in the future.
• 0+ years of experience
• High school Diploma or GED equivalent

Responsibilities

• Areas of Opportunity: Commercial Underwriting—financial analysis for extensions of inventory credit lines and other commercial loans.
• Consumer Underwriting—evaluate, negotiate, and decisions consumer offerings within Ally’s underwriting policies.
• Inventory Auditor—audit activities for collateral; review records and validate information.
• Sales Analytics—analyze data and trends; provide insights and reports to senior leadership.
