The role develops skills in investigation, negotiation and coverage analysis for auto damage, with the potential to advance to a full Claim Representative after training; requires a high school diploma or GED and customer service experience, plus the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred or 2+ years of customer service experience.
• Ability to work in high volume, fast paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Participates in on-going training for the Auto Express business.
• Works with Unit Manager or mentor to resolve claims promptly.
• Handles customer contact via in office work, calls and texts while using multiple programs.
• Delivers consistent service quality through the claim life cycle and sets expectations.
• Maintains file reserves, documents activities, and follows through to resolution.
• Receives and analyzes low complexity coverage and applies policy conditions.
• Investigates claims to determine coverage, causation and exposure.
• Coordinates appraisal and oversees repair process; escalates beyond authority as needed.
• Determines settlements within authority; writes denial letters when required.
